Dr. Dahl then moved to Oak Park, IL in 1994 and has been proud to call Chicago home since then. She recently made the move south and is now enjoying the suburban sprawl of Palos Park. Dr. Dahl has been practicing medicine in and around the South Chicago area since 1997. Dr. Dahl was the Medical Director of VCA Burbank Animal Hospital for 10 years before striking out on her own. Dr. Dahl met Dr. Minnick and the staff at Southwest Animal Care Center while working as a relief veterinarian. She loved the hospital, its staff, the clients and their pets. She is proud to be the new owner of Southwest Animal Care Center as is looking forward to continuing a tradition of excellence for the patients under her care. Her interests include internal medicine and surgery, dentistry, oncology and critical care. She spends her free time with her family trying to keep up with the activities and very busy social calendars of 3 twenty-something daughters - Emily, Maura and Rowan. She currently shares her home with two German shepherds of questionable reliability,1 pitbull, 1 terrier mix and 5 cats. One of her German Shepherds and her pitbull were rescues. Her other German Shepherd was positive for leptospirosis and she adopted him because his original owner refused to treat him. |
